I love bringing the outdoors in and accessorizing my home with plants. But (and this is a big “but”), I always seem to manage to kill them no matter how hard I try. So, I’ve tracked down the best indoor plant resources in hopes of buying some new indoor plants to keep alive. If you are green thumb challenged like me, I hope you find this post helpful!
I’ve certainly been known to google “easiest indoor plants to keep alive,” but sometimes I get strange recommendations of plants that I would never accessorize my home with. Let’s be honest, I want them to not only stay alive but look nice too. One of my other top concerns when buying houseplants is whether they can harm my pets. I foster dogs (you can follow along via my fostering Instagram @fosterpupdiaries) so it very important to me to ensure they are safe, especially since they may not be as familiar with the house and puppies have a tendency to try to get into everything. One of my favorite types of indoor plants that even I can keep alive are succulents. You can get the best deals on them at local hardware stores like Home Depot. But, did you know that you can save a ton of money by propagating them yourself? It is super easy and allows you to grow dozens of succulents from a single plant! (via Needles + Leaves)
